1nonly: the Las Vegas rapper who turned a 1979 city-pop single into a career, and is now proving it in a support slot
Nathan Fuller was 16 when a reworked Miki Matsubara melody made him a streaming fixture. Six years on he has a debut album, a run of 2026 singles and a touring slot on Night Lovell's MY BLOOD AS THE INK TOUR — one that has been thinned out by cancellations before it even starts.
A borrowed melody from 1979
1nonly is Nathan Scott Fuller, born 6 April 2004 and raised in Las Vegas. He began uploading in 2019, starting on SoundCloud with "Forever In Love", and spent that first stretch somewhere between bedroom pop and lo-fi before hip-hop production took over.
The thing that changed his position was "Stay With Me", released in 2020, built on Miki Matsubara's 真夜中のドア/Stay With Me. Matsubara's track was her debut single, issued on 5 November 1979, and it was in the middle of its own improbable internet revival — it passed 500 million Spotify streams in July 2026, the first Japanese-language song from the twentieth century to do so. 1nonly's version caught the same wave, moving through TikTok and Instagram and accumulating more than 250 million Spotify streams of its own.
That is an unusual foundation for a rap career: a hook nobody has to be taught, attached to a teenager with almost no catalogue behind it. Much of what followed has been the work of building a body of music that can survive without it. His audience today sits at roughly 2.3 million across platforms, weighted heavily towards YouTube at about 1.1 million, with around 818,000 on TikTok and 281,000 on Instagram.
Warner, Homesick, and a long middle stretch
He signed to Warner Records in 2021 and released "Come Thru" with Ciscaux and Shady Moon. The debut EP, Homesick, arrived on 18 November 2022 — eight tracks, led by "Mine" and "Step Back!" with the Australian rapper SXMPRA — and was followed by touring through 2023.
In June 2023 he recorded "Toolie Beam" with Pouya, a connection that would matter later. Then the music changed direction: by 2024 he was releasing tracks such as "VICODIN", pushing away from the melancholy sample-flip towards harder, Memphis-leaning and phonk-adjacent material. Nothing from that period repeated the reach of "Stay With Me", and for roughly two years the catalogue grew in singles rather than projects.
The live record of that stretch is thin and well documented, which tells its own story. Setlist.fm holds five 1nonly setlists in total: three from an April 2023 run — Union Stage in Washington DC on 3 April, 1720 in Los Angeles on 10 April, Trees in Dallas on 12 April — a Rolling Loud appearance at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on 22 July 2023, and then nothing until 13 November 2025 at Union Hall in Edmonton.
The debut album, five years after the hit
ONLY IF I DIE, WOULD I NOT BE landed on 20 February 2026 through DA7 Records: thirteen tracks, thirty minutes and fifty-nine seconds, and not a single song over three minutes. The track titles — "PLAYAZ NEVER DIE", "CHUMPCHANGE", "GRAILED", "30ROUNDCLIP", "MOVED ON" — mark the distance travelled from a city-pop sample.
It is also a heavily collaborative record for a debut. "FLY", with Odetari, had already gone out as a single on 28 November 2025. "WIT DAT STEEL", with Diplo and d00mscrvll, followed on 8 January 2026. Three more arrived on release day: "LATELY" with Pouya, "PUSH UP" with Project Pat and 870glizzy, and "WHO GON' SLIDE" with Shakewell. The Project Pat feature is the clearest statement of intent on the album — a direct line back to the Memphis source material the production keeps circling.
Reception has been respectable rather than emphatic. On Album of the Year it holds a user score of 62 from 112 ratings; one of the posted user reviews called it a record of highs with occasional lows and singled out his performance on "FLY" as the best thing on it.
Where things stand in November 2026
The release cadence since the album has been steady and unhurried: "DO A DANCE" on 15 May 2026, "Meaningless Love" with Silo on 12 June, "Come and Go" on 10 July, "See U In My Comments" on 7 August, and "CAMELOT" on 11 September. That is five singles in five months, with no second album announced.
His touring position has shifted from headline to support. After the November 2025 Canadian run billed as Freddie Dredd / 1nonly / Cursed — which took in The Exchange in Regina on 12 November and Union Hall in Edmonton on 13 November — the current booking is as the featured act on Night Lovell's MY BLOOD AS THE INK TOUR. Night Lovell released MY BLOOD AS THE INK on 28 August 2026 through G59 Records, his first project since 2023's I Hope You're Happy, with the line "My blood has always been the ink, but the wounds have never stung. I hope you are all very happy with the man that I've become."
The North American leg has not held together. It was due to open on 29 November 2026 at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver and run through to the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on 22 December, but a large share of those dates now carry cancellation notices: Vancouver, Showbox SoDo in Seattle on 30 November, The Novo in Los Angeles on 4 December, Marquee Theatre in Tempe on 5 December, Delmar Hall in St Louis on 12 December, and the Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto dates. What survives on the continent is a short spine — Roseland Theater in Portland on 1 December, UC Theatre in Berkeley on 3 December, Warsaw in Brooklyn on 16 December and Royale in Boston on 18 December. Fourteen dates are listed as on sale, and most of them are in Europe.
That European leg runs through February 2027 and is where 1nonly's name appears most consistently on the bills: Archa+ in Prague on 8 February, Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg on the 9th, Metropol in Berlin on the 10th, ZOOM in Frankfurt on the 13th, Nachtwerk in Munich on the 15th, Carlswerk Victoria in Cologne on the 16th, Le Botanique in Brussels on the 17th, and Scala in London on 22 February. Helsinki, Warsaw, Paris and Manchester dates are on the same run under Night Lovell's name.
The set as it exists on paper
There is no long paper trail of 1nonly shows to review, and what exists points to a compact, fast set rather than a production. The fullest documented performance is the Rolling Loud slot at Hard Rock Stadium on 22 July 2023: eight songs — "Dirty Game", "TOOLIE BEAM", "Grave", "Fuck You!", "GHOSTKILLA", "Step Back!", "Split" and "Mine" — which, given none of his recorded tracks reaches three minutes, is a set that runs well under half an hour.
Across the five logged setlists the recurring material is "GHOSTKILLA" with four appearances, then "Mine" and "Step Back!" with three each, and "Ash Kaashh" and "Bunny Girl" with two. Notably, "Stay With Me" does not dominate those lists, which is consistent with an artist steering away from the song that made him. Newer album cuts, "GRAILED" among them, are the ones expected to carry the current run.
The Night Lovell dates are standard club and theatre bookings rather than anything bespoke — the cancelled Seattle show, for instance, was a 7pm doors, 8pm start at a 1,700-capacity room. The pairing itself is the main thing a ticket buys: Night Lovell's catalogue and 1nonly's recent output sit in the same cold, bass-forward register, and the bill is being sold on that overlap.
The show, now
A 1nonly set in late 2026 is a support slot, not a headline production. He is the featured act on Night Lovell's MY BLOOD AS THE INK TOUR, playing club and theatre rooms — the cancelled Seattle date at Showbox SoDo was a 7pm doors, 8pm start — with the surviving North American dates being Portland's Roseland Theater on 1 December, UC Theatre in Berkeley on 3 December, Warsaw in Brooklyn on 16 December and Royale in Boston on 18 December, before a European run through February 2027 that takes in Prague, Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Cologne, Brussels and Scala in London on 22 February. The format is short and dense: his fullest documented setlist, from Rolling Loud at Hard Rock Stadium on 22 July 2023, was eight songs — "Dirty Game", "TOOLIE BEAM", "Grave", "Fuck You!", "GHOSTKILLA", "Step Back!", "Split", "Mine" — and since no recorded track of his runs past three minutes, a set of that shape finishes inside half an hour. Across the five setlists logged on setlist.fm the staples are "GHOSTKILLA" (four appearances), "Mine" and "Step Back!" (three each) and "Ash Kaashh" and "Bunny Girl" (two each), with newer album material such as "GRAILED" expected on the current run; "Stay With Me", the song that built the audience, is conspicuously not a fixture. Staging is not advertised beyond the standard room setup, and the draw is the bill itself — Night Lovell's catalogue and 1nonly's post-album output occupy the same cold, bass-forward space. The caveat worth knowing is the cancellations: eight of the announced North American dates, including Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles, Tempe, St Louis, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto, now carry cancellation notices, so anyone holding a ticket outside the four confirmed cities should check the venue directly.
