Nine Lives and a Tour Bus: ALLEYCVT's Long Climb Out of the Bedroom
A Virginia-born, Los Angeles-based dubstep producer who taught herself sound design on YouTube, ALLEYCVT spent early 2026 selling out her first full-album tour and ended the summer debuting a new duo project on a Lost Lands stage. Her first bus tour, the Beginning of Forever run, went on sale in October 2026.
Virginia, then Los Angeles
ALLEYCVT came out of northern Virginia and now works out of Los Angeles. She started writing songs in fourth grade and spent her first years as a producer making pop, not bass — dubstep was what she went to shows for rather than what she made. She has described that gap between the two as the obvious thing she missed: "It's so funny that my calling was right in front of me the entire time when I was raving, and I didn't realize it."
By her own accounting, the ALLEYCVT project covers roughly five years, which places its start around 2020. Three of those years went almost entirely into production — sound design, mixing, mastering, worked out from YouTube tutorials rather than a studio apprenticeship. She has been blunt about underestimating the back end of the job, saying there is "honestly just so much more that goes into mixing and mastering" than she expected going in.
The reference points she names are Zeds Dead, Subtronics, Ganja White Night and Flux Pavilion. The method that came out of it pairs pop-shaped vocal writing — she sings on her own records — with heavy bass drops, and she has leaned on rock dynamics as much as club ones.
Signing, collaborating, and a first sold-out run
Her first label release came through Deadbeats, the imprint run by Zeds Dead and the label she had named as her favourite before she landed on it. The track was "GLITCH", which she explained as being "about finding something that makes you feel like you can escape the monotony of everyday life". She also cut "Remember Me" with Zingara, a session she remembers mostly for the two of them fighting incompatible Ableton versions.
The industry markers followed quickly. She was named to EDM.com's Class of 2025: Artists to Watch and took the cover of Spotify's Dubstep Don playlist. Her FEEL IT Tour sold out more than 30 dates, which established her as a headliner rather than a support booking. She also played Excision's Lost Lands and, at The Caverns in Tennessee, ran what was reported as the largest laser production that venue had staged.
9 LIVES, and the EP she threw away first
ALLEYCVT announced her debut EP from the mainstage at Lost Lands in 2025. It arrived on 24 September 2025 as five tracks: "SO DAMN GOOD", "ALIVE", "OTHER SIDE", "NOVOCAINE" and "FALL INTO YOU". The framing is nine lives lived through the course of a career — perseverance, transformation, the heartbreaks and the wins across those five years.
It was not the first attempt. She wrote a different EP, decided it did not land, and went back into the studio after a tour to start again. The version that survived fuses melodic dubstep with pop writing and rock intensity, and she has staked a lot on it: "9 LIVES embodies everything I've ever wanted to be as an artist," she said, adding that it "finally" gave a taste of everything she was into musically.
The release cycle closed 2025 with SUPERSONIC BALLROOM, a takeover of Denver's Mission Ballroom on 6 December 2025 — at that point the largest headline show she had played.
The 9 LIVES Tour, January to March 2026
The tour was announced on 2 October 2025, with tickets on sale from 10am local time the following day. It opened with 22 dates across the United States and Canada and ran from 16 January to 21 March 2026 — the first time she had toured a finished body of work rather than a stack of singles. "The 9 LIVES tour marks a huge milestone for me, it's the first time I get to tour a complete body of work, which feels surreal," she said at the announcement, describing it as "the next chapter of the ALLEYCVT project. From production to set design, every detail is built to take people on a journey they won't forget." What she promised specifically was new visuals, unreleased material and, in her words, "A LOT of lasers".
Support rotated through Dennett, Seth David, Steller, Wink, Zen Selekta, Cozy Kev, Maddelik and Tazu depending on the city. The run sold out in multiple markets: her 6 February 2026 date at Newport Music Hall in Columbus went clear with Seth David and Cozy Kev opening, doors at 7pm, all ages. The Philadelphia stop at Union Transfer also sold out, with Steller and Tazu supporting, and drew a favourable review.
The tour carried a PLUS1 partnership, with a dollar from every ticket going to Re:wild for ecosystem conservation and species-extinction work. She has also donated to One Tree Planted on previous runs.
ALLDAT and a heavy festival autumn
The main development of 2026 is a second project. In late July 2026, ALLEYCVT and Crankdat announced ALLDAT, a joint act built from their unannounced back-to-back sets at Ilesoniq and GRiZ's Seven Stars weekend. It debuted on the Prehistoric Stage at Lost Lands on 20 September 2026, at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio.
The debut ran to just under an hour and leaned on material nobody had heard: the opener was an unreleased ALLEYCVT and Crankdat ID, with further unreleased Crankdat work later in the mix. Her own catalogue carried the middle — "In The Alley (VIP)", "OTHER SIDE" and "SUPERSONIC" — alongside Crankdat flips of Sexyy Red's "SkeeYee" and SVDDEN DEATH's "Behemoth". Releases under the ALLDAT name were flagged for later in 2026. She posted the set herself afterwards.
The surrounding festival schedule was dense: North Coast Music Festival at SeatGeek Stadium on 5 September 2026, Dancefestopia in La Cygne, Kansas on 12 September, Lost Lands on 20 September, then EDC Korea at Discovery Park in Incheon on 3 October and EDC Medellín on 10 and 11 October.
What is on sale now
On 13 October 2026 she announced the Beginning of Forever 2027 Tour, with presales opening on 15 October. It is her first bus tour, it runs alongside a new EP, and more than two dozen dates are on sale across three countries into March 2027. Confirmed stops include Sacramento on 20 January, Los Angeles on 22 and 23 January, San Diego on 27 January, Phoenix on 29 January, Dallas on 4 February, Houston on 6 February, Birmingham on 11 February, MegaCorp Pavilion in Newport, Kentucky on 14 February with YDG and Machaki, Philadelphia on 18 February, Washington DC on 19 February, Montreal on 26 February, REBEL in Toronto on 27 February, Chicago on 5 March and Seattle on 6 March.
Her description of the record behind it is unusually plain about what two years of touring did to her: "This entire project represents a reflection of the person I've become while being granted this new life of a touring artist alongside the trials, tribulations, and stories that I've collected." On the shows themselves she has kept it short — she is looking forward to seeing fans again and showing them new production and music.
Before that run starts there is still 2026 to finish: The Sylvee in Madison on 23 October, Pier 33 in Wilmington, North Carolina on 30 October, EDC Orlando from 6 to 8 November, and Roadrunner in Boston on 5 December. Sippy is booked across four of the remaining dates, with Smoakland, Kompany and Lucky on selected shows.
The show, now
A headline ALLEYCVT show in 2026 is a club or mid-size theatre date — Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Union Transfer in Philadelphia, The Sylvee in Madison, Boston's Roadrunner — with doors typically at 7pm, all ages, two openers and a set built around the 9 LIVES material rather than a generic bass selection. She sings on her own records and performs as a DJ, so the set alternates vocal-led melodic passages with drops; the staging centrepiece is lasers, which she flagged as the main upgrade for the 2026 run and which she had already pushed at The Caverns, where she ran that venue's largest laser rig to date. Support has rotated hard: Seth David and Cozy Kev in Columbus, Steller and Tazu in Philadelphia, with Dennett, Wink, Zen Selekta and Maddelik taking other cities, and Sippy, Smoakland, Kompany and Lucky on the remaining 2026 dates. Sets lean heavily on unreleased material — her hour-long ALLDAT debut with Crankdat at Lost Lands on 20 September 2026 opened on an unreleased ID and worked "In The Alley (VIP)", "OTHER SIDE" and "SUPERSONIC" around Crankdat's flips of "SkeeYee" and "Behemoth". The 9 LIVES run sold out in Columbus and Philadelphia among other markets and drew positive reviews, and each ticket carried a dollar to Re:wild through PLUS1. The 2027 Beginning of Forever dates, on sale since mid-October 2026, are her first bus tour and come with new production and a new EP.
