A Georgian singer, a Budapest address, and a first tour that keeps outgrowing its rooms

Davit Tsereteli records as DA TI, moved from Georgia to Budapest to chase a music career, and inside two years has passed a million monthly Spotify listeners, signed to Warner Records and taken a first European headline tour whose Budapest night sold out and whose Athens night had to be shifted into a bigger club.

Georgia, then Budapest

The artist behind DA TI is Davit Tsereteli, born and raised in Georgia and now living in Budapest, where he moved to work at music full time. That relocation is the one biographical fact every promoter and write-up agrees on, and it shows up in the work itself: Budapest appears in several of his videos, including the one that turned him from a streaming name into a touring act.

What does not exist, at least not in anything published and checkable, is a pre-history. There is no documented band, no conservatoire, no competition run, no first label deal before the current one. The paper trail starts cold in 2025 with a run of singles under the DA TI name and builds from there without a gap. Anyone writing about him is therefore writing about a career that is roughly eighteen months old and almost entirely legible through release dates and ticket links.

The Hungarian framing is worth holding on to, because it explains the shape of the touring. He is a Georgian artist whose industry footing is central European, which is why the first headline run reads as a chain of small continental clubs rather than the usual London-first trajectory, and why his first show in the country he actually lives in did not happen until October 2026.

The 2025 singles and DATIVERSE

The catalogue opens with a cluster of singles released across 2025, most of them titled in block capitals: ‘RUN LIKE FORREST GUMP’, which also got a remix by Sirin Inci, ‘SOMETHING I COULD’, ‘TURN INTO STRANGERS’, ‘FALLING FOR YOUR EYES’, ‘BEING ALONE’ and ‘Dream’. The pace is the giveaway — this was a singles-first, platform-first launch rather than an album campaign, with each track pushed out to find its own audience.

Those tracks were gathered into a debut EP, DATIVERSE, which arrived in December 2025. The EP is the record that promoters still reach for when they need to explain who he is, and it supplied the viral traction that German listings later cited as the reason his first live booking happened at all.

Descriptions of the music converge rather than conflict. Promoter and press copy places him in indie-pop built on singer-songwriter balladry, with emotional storytelling as the organising principle, intimate acoustic arrangements and occasional orchestral colour. The UK blog Culture Fix, covering his most recent release, called the production multi-instrumental and the writing honest and atmospheric. Those are consistent accounts of a soft-voiced, mid-paced pop record rather than a dance or rap-adjacent one, which matters when working out what the live show can and cannot be.

‘Take Me There’ and the Warner year

The break came on 3 April 2026, when ‘Take Me There’ was released through Warner Records — the label named on his own site. It is the song that reframed everything: the music video, part of it shot in Budapest, had passed 13 million YouTube views by the time the Hungarian show went on sale, and the German promoter listing for his Berlin date put the track above 16 million Spotify streams. An acoustic version followed as its own single, a standard move but also a tell about where the song's weight sits — it survives being stripped back.

The most recent release is ‘12345’, out on 4 September 2026 as a three-track single. It was co-written with the producer Sander de Bie and keeps the counting conceit in the hook: one, two, three, four, five, I give you all the time, will you be by my side when stars are falling. Culture Fix framed it as a deliberate continuation of ‘Take Me There’ rather than a swerve.

His official site is unusually sparse about all this. It fronts three things — ‘12345’, ‘Take Me There’ and DATIVERSE — and otherwise points straight at BandsInTown for dates. There is no album announced, no credits page, no biography. For an act with a million-plus monthly listeners, the public-facing architecture is still that of a new artist.

Standing in October 2026

As of early October 2026 the headline numbers are a million-plus monthly Spotify listeners, millions of TikTok views and the ‘Take Me There’ video sitting in the mid-teens of millions. Songkick lists just over 2,100 fans tracking him for concert alerts, which is a reasonable proxy for how much of that streaming audience has converted into people who want to stand in a room with him.

Two demand signals are harder than any stream count. The Budapest show at Dürer Kert's small hall went on sale on 26 August at 10am through livenation.hu and funcode.hu and is now marked sold out. And the Athens date on 30 October was moved out of Death Disco into Fuzz Club on demand grounds, with the promoter confirming existing tickets stay valid and holders need do nothing. Upgrading a venue mid-campaign on a debut tour is the clearest evidence available that the booking was conservative.

The honest counterweight is that the critical record has not caught up. There are no published reviews of his live shows, no setlist archive entries for any date, and the written coverage amounts to promoter copy in four languages plus one UK blog following the singles. The German listing's claim that he is his home country's next big pop sensation is marketing, not assessment. At this point the streaming figures and the sold-out room are the only load-bearing facts about his standing, and the first real press verdict is still unwritten.

The rooms on this tour

The live career began on 27 February 2026 at Prachtwerk in Berlin, billed as his debut live show and staged as an intimate showcase with a DJ warm-up rather than a support band. That template — small room, no conventional opener — has carried into the headline run.

The first European headline tour opened at Supersonic Records in Paris on 3 October 2026, a 240-capacity-class club on rue Biscornet in the 12th arrondissement, doors-to-stage at 8.30pm and tickets at €23. The French listing made a point of the intimate staging and of hearing the songs at a different scale from the recordings, which is the pitch rather than a review but does describe the production honestly: this is a club show, not a touring set-piece.

Three dates remain on sale: the Courtyard Theatre in Hoxton, London, on Wednesday 14 October; Mikropol in Berlin on Wednesday 21 October; and Fuzz Club in Athens on Friday 30 October. The sold-out Budapest night at Dürer Kert falls on Monday 26 October at 7pm in the small hall, and counts as his first ever show in Hungary despite being the city he lives in. No support act is named on any of the listings.

The show, now

A DA TI show in autumn 2026 is a small-club headline set with no named support act. The Paris opener on 3 October ran at Supersonic Records, doors to stage at 8.30pm, tickets €23, with the promoter selling the night on its intimate staging and on hearing the songs at a scale the recordings do not give them; the Budapest date on 26 October is a 7pm start in Dürer Kert's small hall and is sold out. The precedent from his debut live show at Prachtwerk in Berlin on 27 February 2026 was a showcase warmed up by a DJ rather than a band, and nothing on the current listings suggests that has changed. The material available to draw on is short — the DATIVERSE EP, the 2025 singles, ‘Take Me There’ and its acoustic version, and ‘12345’ — so the set is necessarily built around a handful of soft-voiced, mid-paced songs rather than a long career retrospective, and no setlist from any date has been logged publicly. Demand has outrun the bookings: Athens on 30 October was moved out of Death Disco into the larger Fuzz Club, with existing tickets held valid. There are no published reviews of any show on this tour yet, and no verifiable fan accounts, so set length and staging detail beyond the promoters' own descriptions remain unconfirmed.
