Worlds Collide is a Disney Concerts arena production rather than a band — a rotating cast drawn from the Descendants, ZOMBIES and now Camp Rock films. The 2025 version was named Billboard's top family tour of the year; the follow-up opens on 25 September 2026 in Palm Desert and runs to Madrid in February 2027.

An act assembled from three film franchises

Worlds Collide has no fixed line-up, no back catalogue of its own and no frontperson. It is a touring property built by Disney Concerts, in which the current leads of three Disney Channel film series perform the songs from those films in an arena setting. The personnel change when the films change, which is the whole design: the tour exists to put the newest set of Disney Channel leads in front of the audience that has just watched them on Disney+.

The 2026 edition carries eight performers — Malachi Barton, Liamani Segura, Dara Reneé, Mekonnen Knife, Hudson Stone, Swayam Bhatia, Kiara Romero and Alexandro Byrd. Barton and Segura both crossed franchises this year, appearing in ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires and Descendants: Wicked Wonderland respectively before taking the two leads in Camp Rock 3. Reneé and Knife are the holdovers from the previous tour; Stone, Bhatia, Romero and Byrd are new to the road.

The performers appear under their own names rather than in character, which is the line the production draws between itself and a theatrical adaptation. A reviewer at the Boston stop in August 2025 made the point plainly: it was staged as a pop concert, not a play with songs in it.

The summer 2025 run that proved the format

The first iteration, billed as the Descendants/ZOMBIES: Worlds Collide Tour, opened in San Diego on 17 July 2025 and closed in Fort Worth, Texas on 16 September 2025. It carried seven performers drawn from Descendants: The Rise of Red and ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires — Kylie Cantrall, Freya Skye, Malia Baker, Malachi Barton, Dara Reneé, Joshua Colley and Mekonnen Knife.

It played more than 40 arenas, sold them out, and was named the top family tour of 2025 in Billboard's year-end touring report. That ranking is the reason the 2026 run exists at the scale it does, and it is the number Disney and AEG Presents lead with in every announcement.

Amy Tinkham served as creative director on the live show, with Scotty Nguyen handling choreography and video direction — the same creative spine the production has carried forward.

What it has released

For a touring act with no studio catalogue, the recorded output arrives in two forms: the film soundtracks it draws on, and the documents of the tour itself.

Disney Descendants/ZOMBIES: Worlds Collide Tour – The Live Album came out on Walt Disney Records on 20 February 2026, running 24 songs across roughly an hour and nine minutes. It landed a day after the television document of the same run: Descendants/ZOMBIES Worlds Collide: Concert Special aired on Disney Channel on 19 February 2026 at 7pm ET/PT and reached Disney+ the following day. Fulwell Entertainment produced it, Paul Dugdale directed, and the guest list on the filmed show included Meg Donnelly, Milo Manheim, Liamani Segura and Rita Ora.

The source material feeding the 2026 setlist is newer still. Descendants: Wicked Wonderland premiered on Disney Channel on 16 July 2026 and Disney+ the next day, drew 7.5 million viewers in its first three days of streaming, topped the charts in 71 countries and logged 359 million minutes of Nielsen watch time in its opening week; its soundtrack entered Billboard's Kid Albums chart at number one and the Soundtracks chart at number two, led by the single Perfect Princess on 12 June 2026. Camp Rock 3 followed on Disney Channel on 13 August 2026 and Disney+ on 14 August, directed by Veronica Rodriguez, shot in Vancouver between 15 September and 1 November 2025, with the Jonas Brothers reprising Connect 3 and executive producing alongside Demi Lovato. Its first single, One Beat Away, arrived on 1 July 2026.

The tour has one release of its own this cycle: Worlds Collide 2026, credited to the Descendants/ZOMBIES/Camp Rock: Worlds Collide Tour cast, issued by Walt Disney Records on 6 September 2026 and running three minutes twenty.

Camp Rock enters, and the map doubles

Disney Concerts, Disney+ and AEG Presents announced the 2026 tour on 18 March 2026. The headline change is Camp Rock, in the show for the first time — a franchise whose first two films predate most of the audience currently buying tickets, and whose new instalment gave two of this cast their leads.

The scale changed with it. The North American leg covers 48 arenas across the United States, Canada and Mexico, opening at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California on 25 September 2026 and finishing at Arena CDMX in Mexico City on 13 December. A European and UK leg of 11 venues then runs from Dublin on 6 February 2027 to Madrid on 24 February, taking in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, two nights in London, Cologne, Amsterdam and Paris. The full run is 60 shows.

Tickets went to a Disney+ Perks presale for subscribers in the United States and Canada on 23 March 2026 at 10am local time, with the general on-sale on 27 March at the same hour. VIP packages sit at the top: a reserved seat in the first five rows, a group photograph with the cast, entry to a soundcheck at which a song is performed, a Q&A, signed memorabilia, a welcome gift, preferred parking, priority entrance and merchandise shopping before the doors open.

Where it stands on opening night

As of 25 September 2026 the tour has not yet played a note in this configuration — the Palm Desert opener is a 7pm start tonight, so there are no reviews of the 2026 production and no confirmed running order. What exists is a list.

On 8 September 2026 the twenty songs fans can expect were published, alphabetically rather than in sequence: Dancing With The Enemy, Did You Hear About Them, Echo, Evil Like Me, For Once In My Life, Get Ready, Go Live It, Heartless, Introducing Me, One Beat Away, Perfect Princess, Play My Music, Show The World, Stand, This Is Love, This Is Me, Tomorrow, We Rock, Work In Progress and Wouldn't Change A Thing, plus the title track. The Camp Rock share of that is substantial — Play My Music, We Rock, Introducing Me, This Is Me and Wouldn't Change A Thing are all songs from 2008 and 2010, which puts material older than the performers alongside singles released three months ago.

No support act has been announced for any date, in line with the previous run, which was a cast-led evening from first song to last.

What the room was like last time

The most reliable guide to the 2026 show is the one it replaces. At a sold-out TD Garden in Boston on 25 August 2025, the full cast opened with Worlds Collide — a number the reviewer heard as borrowing the low thud of Taylor Swift's …Ready For It? while the women held the stage, then swerving towards Fall Out Boy when the men arrived. The production ran to around 40 songs over two sets with an interval, close to two and a half hours.

Staging leaned on set pieces rather than spectacle for its own sake: Freya Skye sang Life Is Sweeter from the top of a cupcake throne, flanked by hot-pink feather fans, and Good To Be Bad was choreographed to new jack swing. Malachi Barton — back again this year, now with a Camp Rock lead to his name — was singled out as the performer the room reacted to hardest.

The critical read was measured rather than dismissive. Marc Hirsh found the pop derivative in places and allowed that an adult listener would be running on borrowed excitement, while noting that for an arena full of people at their first concert none of it was second-hand at all. That gap between the two audiences is the honest description of what this tour is.

The show, now

The 2026 production opens at Acrisure Arena, Palm Desert on 25 September 2026 with a 7pm start, so nothing has been reviewed yet; the shape is known from its predecessor and from the setlist published on 8 September. Expect a cast-led evening of roughly two hours or more with no support act announced — the 2025 run went to about two and a half hours, more than thirty songs and an interval, and one critic counted close to forty across two sets at TD Garden on 25 August 2025. The eight performers appear as themselves rather than in character, working through franchise material and cross-franchise mashups with choreography by Scotty Nguyen and creative direction by Amy Tinkham. Twenty titles have been confirmed as likely, among them Play My Music, We Rock, Introducing Me, Wouldn't Change A Thing and This Is Me from Camp Rock, Perfect Princess and Evil Like Me from Descendants, and One Beat Away, plus the tour's own single Worlds Collide 2026. Staging on the previous run favoured discrete set pieces — a cupcake throne, feather fans, a new jack swing routine — over continuous spectacle. VIP tiers put buyers in the first five rows with a soundcheck performance, a cast Q&A and a group photograph. Audiences skew heavily towards children at a first concert; the Boston review was candid that adults are there on borrowed enthusiasm, and that the room was loud enough to make the distinction academic.
