Two founding dates, one office in Kraków

The company gives two starting points for itself. Galicja Productions was formally set up in Kraków in 2005, but the work it counts as continuous began thirteen years earlier, in 1992, when the people behind it were putting on small club gigs without a company to do it through. Both figures sit on its own about page, which adds up to more than thirty years in the Polish concert business.

The self-description is flatter than most agency copy: a small, family-run firm working mainly on the domestic market, pairing the flexibility of a family business with the procedures of a larger event operation. Its stated remit is the organisation and servicing of concerts, parties and events in rock and alternative music, and the popularisation of that music in Poland. Alongside promotion it lists tour servicing, accessibility provision, transport coordination and accreditation — the unglamorous middle of the job.

One consequence of that structure is visible on ticketing sites. The name attached to a large block of Polish club dates is the promoter's, not a performer's, which is why Galicja Productions turns up as an entry in its own right rather than as a line in an artist's tour listing.

Był kiedyś Jarocin, the series that became a festival

The Jarocin festival began in 1980 as a national review of young-generation music and grew into the biggest rock event in the Eastern bloc. Galicja's recurring tribute to it, Był kiedyś Jarocin, puts acts from the 1980s and 1990s onto a single club stage rather than a field.

The second edition ran at B90 in Gdańsk on 23 November 2019, across two stages, with photo and film retrospectives from the original festivals and the music writer Leszek Gnoiński hosting. The bill included Kat & Roman Kostrzewski, Sztywny Pal Azji, Moskwa, Closterkeller, Zielone Żabki, Proletaryat, Ga-Ga, The Bill, WC, Cela nr 3 and Instytucja.

A Kraków edition followed at Kamienna 12 on 10 December 2022, doors at 16:00 and music from 17:00, with Proletaryat, Sztywny Pal Azji, The Bill, Ga-Ga, Closterkeller, Zielone Żabki, Kobranocka, Róże Europy and KSU. Tickets started at 120 zł in advance, went to 140 zł from 1 November and 150 zł on the day — the tiered structure the firm still uses.

The 2026 version is the largest so far: three days at B90 in Gdańsk, 11–13 December, at 320–350 zł. Artists announced across the weekend include Armia, Turbo, Closterkeller, Big Cyc, Lech Janerka, Sztywny Pal Azji, Illusion, Farben Lehre, Sex Bomba, Proletaryat, Kobranocka, Daab, Abaddon, The Bill, Zielone Żabki, Maleo, Quo Vadis, Róże Europy, Sedes and Karcer.

What else has gone through the books

The rest of the catalogue is broader than the Jarocin brand suggests. Trade coverage of the agency runs from a Kult concert in Kraków announced in May 2021, through Punk Fest 2021 — moved outdoors that year — and a Słoń and Redrum date at Hype Park in Kraków the same month, to an Illusion and Luxtorpeda double bill on 10 September 2021.

Autumn 2022 brought separate Luxtorpeda and Hunter runs, announced in September, and a set of Christmas concerts in December. The international side is thinner but real: The Exploited's Polish dates were announced in December 2023, and by 1 May 2024 the Zabrze show was down to its last 47 tickets.

Most recently, the Polish Metal Alliance project was paired with Wolf Spider's fortieth anniversary for a tour announced at the start of January 2026 — the immediate precursor to the alliance's current run.

The diary as it stands, October 2026 to March 2027

The current calendar is entirely domestic and built around a handful of multi-city runs. The largest is the Illusion, Hostia and Iron Head tour: ten dates at 99–130 zł, opening in Gdynia on 23 October and Bielsko-Biała on 24 October, then Warsaw's Proxima on 6 November, Zmiana Klimatu in Białystok on 7 November, C.K. Wiatrak in Zabrze on 20 November, Stary Klasztor in Wrocław on 21 November, Scenografia in Łódź on 27 November, Fabryka Kultury Zgrzyt in Lublin on 28 November, TAMA in Poznań on 4 December and Kwadrat in Kraków on 5 December.

Running alongside it: Bracia Figo Fagot's Oldschool Disco Polo shows with 21:00 starts at Od Nowa in Toruń on 9 October, DK Słowianin in Szczecin on 7 November and P23 in Katowice on 20 November, at 150–160 zł; Happysad's twenty-fifth anniversary nights at Kwadrat on 27 November and P23 on 28 November, at 130–150 zł; a Monsters of Rock Tribute Fest at Kwadrat on 7 November; Lej Mi Pół at Kwadrat on 20 November; and Pankoteka 8.0 at DK Słowianin on 28 November.

The firm's own punk brand, Fuck Off Festival, takes B90 in Gdańsk on 7 November and Klub Stodoła in Warsaw on 19 December, at 99–150 zł. Beyond that the diary is already deep into 2027: Polish Metal Alliance with Aquilla in Kraków on 8 January, Rzeszów on 9 January, Zabrze on 15 January, Warsaw's Progresja on 16 January, Szczecin on 22 January and Poznań on 23 January, at 120–150 zł, announced on 4 May 2026; Sztywny Pal Azji, Róże Europy and Pudelsi at Kwadrat on 27 February; and Jary Oddział Zamknięty with Kobranocka at the same room on 13 March.

A fixed circuit and a fixed method

Read across the tours, the same rooms recur: Kwadrat in Kraków, B90 in Gdańsk, Proxima, Progresja and Stodoła in Warsaw, TAMA in Poznań, DK Słowianin in Szczecin, P23 in Katowice, C.K. Wiatrak in Zabrze. The agency is routing the same circuit repeatedly rather than scaling into arenas, and the price band it works in — roughly 70 zł for a single local club show to 350 zł for a three-day pass — reflects that.

Two kinds of product sit side by side. There are bought-in tours where an established band is routed through the circuit with a co-billed supporting act, and there are formats the agency owns outright: Był kiedyś Jarocin, Fuck Off Festival, Pankoteka, now in its eighth edition, and the Monsters of Rock tribute night. The owned brands are what let it fill rooms without depending on a single headliner's availability.

Tickets go out through the agency's own shop at galicja.net as well as Ticketmaster Poland, eBilet and the other Polish platforms — a direct channel kept alongside the aggregators, which is consistent with the rest of how the firm operates.
