Gravagerz and the long walk from a SoundCloud remix to a club booth

Alessandro Bruno turned a bootleg of a Billie Eilish song into 200 million streams, then spent 2026 learning to play the music in front of people. His first DJ tour, Bedroom to the World, has now run two legs and reached Australia and New Zealand.

Putignano, Luxembourg, and a management deal at seventeen

Alessandro Bruno was born on 30 August 2002 in Putignano, a town in the Puglia region of southern Italy, and now works out of Luxembourg. His booking agencies describe the sound he settled on as euphoric house: four-to-the-floor at its base, but with UK garage shuffle and dubstep weight pulled into the drops, and a pop writer's habit of building everything around a vocal hook rather than around a build-up.

The professional part started in 2020, when he was seventeen and signed with Leaf Music Management. The catalogue from that period is the standard apprenticeship of a young producer with a laptop and an internet connection: a single called Look Back at It with Tom Field on B1 Recordings, and remix commissions including work on Regard and Ella Henderson, and Era Istrefi. None of it broke out. What it did was teach him how the remix economy works, which turned out to be the thing that mattered.

Chihiro, and what a bootleg can do

The break came from a remix he put on SoundCloud of a Billie Eilish track. It moved on TikTok and Instagram first, in the way that unofficial edits do, and then kept moving. His agencies put the figure at more than 200 million combined streams and around 1.2 million separate videos built on the track. He eventually released his own version under the title Chihiro, which Apple Music dates to 2024 and still lists as his most-played song.

The viral record opened the door to sanctioned work. He was given the official remix of Tough by Quavo and Lana Del Rey, also 2024, and then an official cover of Disclosure and London Grammar's Help Me Lose My Mind, which his representatives credit with more than 50 million streams and roughly 50,000 creator videos. The Help Me Lose My Mind material was worked for everything it was worth: a sped-up edit landed on 21 February 2025 and a slowed-down version on 28 February 2025, the two speeds that the short-video platforms reward.

This is a career built in a particular order. Most dance producers tour first and chart later. Bruno accumulated an audience in the hundreds of millions before he had played a club, which is an unusual position to be in and, as 2026 showed, a position that eventually has to be converted into a room full of people.

Pool, and the first records that were his own

The pivot from reinterpreting other people's songs to writing his own happened in April 2025. Pool, featuring the singer kiki wera, came out on 11 April 2025 and became his first entry on the UK Top 100 — his agencies describe it as around 15 million combined streams and 20,000 creator videos. The same playbook followed: a sped-up and slowed-down package on 16 May 2025, and a VIP rework with FOREIGN MERCY on 27 June 2025.

From there the release schedule tightened to something close to a single every two months. Afters, with BL3SS, arrived on 15 August 2025. We R Who We R followed as a single on 12 September 2025 and then as a three-track package on 10 October 2025. XOXO opened 2026 on 9 January, Not My Problem with GRAHAM came on 13 March 2026, and Self Aware was released on 4 September 2026 — his most recent record, and one that Apple Music already ranks inside his five most-played tracks. Across all formats the discography now runs to roughly 37 releases, most of them singles, edits and alternate versions rather than long-form work. There is no album.

Where things stand in October 2026

The streaming numbers in circulation do not agree with each other, which is itself informative about how fast this has moved. His two booking agencies, SPIN Artist Agency and Connected Artists, both quote over 7 million monthly Spotify listeners and more than 300 million combined streams. Promotional copy written for the autumn 2026 club run quotes 500 million combined streams and over 9 million monthly listeners. The lower figures are the ones the agencies are still publishing; the higher ones are the ones venues are using to sell tickets.

The representation is now split along territorial lines, which is what happens when an act starts touring properly. SPIN Artist Agency, based in West Hollywood, handles North and South America. Connected Artists holds the rest of the world, with Panos Ayassotelis and Leon Bjerkelund named as the agents. He also carries an artist page on Insomniac's roster, the American promoter behind Electric Daisy Carnival, which matters mainly as a signal about which end of the American festival market he is being sold into.

As of 20 October 2026 the touring diary is thinner than it was in September but still live: Songkick shows him across two countries with five dates ahead, including a slot at Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, Florida across 22–25 October and a booking at HQ2 inside the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City on 24 October.

Bedroom to the World

The 2026 touring year was packaged under one title, Bedroom to the World — a name that states plainly what the exercise is. It was his debut American tour and, by his own promoters' framing, the point at which he started DJing at all rather than producing for other people's sets.

The first leg ran through spring: The Midway in San Francisco on 26 April 2026, 154 Scott in Brooklyn on 2 May, and Théâtre Fairmount in Montreal on 15 May. A second leg, billed as Bedroom to the World Part 2, picked up at the end of August and ran dense through September — District Atlanta on 28 August, Boston on 29 August, North Coast Music Festival at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois across 4–6 September, Fortune Sound Club in Vancouver on 12 September, Vulcan Gas Company in Austin on 18 September, Time Nightclub in Costa Mesa on 19 September, Trio in Charlotte and Breakaway Music Festival in Concord, North Carolina on 25 September, and Culture in Washington DC on 26 September.

November takes it out of North America for the first time: The Night Cat in Fitzroy, Melbourne on 6 November, High Tide Festival at Waitangi Park on Wellington's waterfront on 7 November, Elsewhere Bar in Surfers Paradise on 15 November, and then back to Realm in Portland, Oregon on 27 November.

One thing worth saying plainly about the current standing: the bookings are real and the streaming is enormous, but the critical record is still empty. Two published reviews of North Coast Music Festival 2026, both posted on 11 September, cover the weekend artist by artist and neither mentions him. The dance press has not yet written about him as a performer, only as a producer with numbers.

The show, now

A Gravagerz show in late 2026 is a club night rather than a staged production, and it is billed as part of the Bedroom to the World tour. The Vancouver date at Fortune Sound Club on 12 September 2026 ran 10pm to 3am, 19-plus, promoted by Blueprint Events; the District Atlanta headline on 28 August 2026 opened its doors at 10pm, was 21-plus, and sold between $15 and $50, with the visual element coming from the venue's own rig of more than 300 suspended kinetic orbs and its LED and laser arrays rather than from anything he carries. Support acts are not listed in advance on most of the bookings, which is normal for rooms of this size and means the opening slots are generally filled locally. The sets are DJ sets, drawing on a catalogue of roughly 37 releases that is weighted towards singles and edits: Chihiro, Pool, We R Who We R, Not My Problem and the September 2026 single Self Aware are the records with the deepest reach, and the sped-up and slowed-down versions in his discography indicate how closely the material is tied to the short-video edits that made it popular. The festival work is a different proposition — a daytime or early-evening slot among seventy-plus acts across six stages at North Coast in Bridgeview on 4–6 September 2026, and R18 outdoor stages at High Tide on Wellington's Waitangi Park on 7 November 2026. No review of his festival performances has appeared in the dance press to date, and two detailed North Coast 2026 reviews published on 11 September do not mention his set, so the honest position is that the live reputation is still unwritten.
