The promoter that ticketing sites file as a band: iBlack USA and the Favela Encantada circuit
iBlack USA is the ticketing identity of Infinity Black USA, a Massachusetts production company that moves Brazilian funk and sertanejo nights between sports bars and concert halls in the north-east. Its biggest weekend yet closed on 1 November 2026 with its headline act's Boston show listed as cancelled and its own after-party still on sale.
An act that is really a production company
On the ticketing platforms that sell its nights, iBlack USA is filed exactly as a performer would be. A promoter page on Promogogo tags it with one genre, latin, and hangs Boston dates beneath it. StageSpotter billed it as the headliner of the 31 October 2026 night at Big Night Live, with Favela Encantada listed underneath as the opener. Neither page carries a biography, a discography or a line-up, and the reason is simple: there is no band to describe. iBlack USA is the trading name used online by Infinity Black USA, a Massachusetts event production company that advertises shows, fairs, expos, glow parties, conferences and sweet-sixteen parties in the same sentence, under the tag line 'Os Melhores Shows e Baladas aqui'.
That mislabelling says something real about how this corner of the live business works. In the Brazilian-American circuit the promoter is the constant and the headliner is the variable — a sertanejo singer flown in for one weekend, a funk DJ booked for a single room — so when the nights are loaded into a ticketing system, the stable name ends up in the artist field. The genre tag latin is a platform's best approximation of music that is specifically Brazilian: funk, pancadão and sertanejo, sung in Portuguese and sold mostly in Portuguese.
It matters for anyone trying to follow the act, because the catalogue that would normally anchor a profile does not exist. There are no records, no specials, no seasons. What exists instead is a schedule, a repeated event title and a short bench of performers who turn up on it again and again. Judged on its own terms, the schedule is the work.
The corridor it works
Infinity Black's own listings place the company in Massachusetts and working outward through the north-east, with its events filterable by state across Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. The rooms are mostly not conventional music venues. The 2026 Halloween weekend ran through 158 Sports Grill Garage in Worcester and Rosie's Sport Bar in Newark before arriving at a purpose-built concert hall in Boston. Alongside the touring dates the firm carries a house room of its own, billed as Mega Lounge Infinity Black, which appears in the site's own venue furniture rather than as a one-off hire.
The commercial signals point the same way. The sponsors named on the site are a car dealership, McGee Toyota, and a radio station, Rádio Insuperável — local money attached to a community audience rather than national brands attached to a touring product. The spread of event types on a single page, from expos to sweet sixteens, fits a firm whose business is the diaspora's whole calendar, with the music nights as its loudest fraction.
Favela Encantada, the title that does the work
The one piece of property that behaves like a release is Favela Encantada, the party title iBlack USA puts above most of its music nights. It is portable by design: the same name covered a Worcester night and a Newark night on 30 October 2026 and the Boston night on 31 October, each with a different line-up underneath. Ticketing systems have begun treating it as an act in its own right, which is why the StageSpotter listing for 31 October reads as iBlack USA with Favela Encantada in support — a promoter opening for its own party brand, or the reverse, depending on which field was filled in first.
Under the title, the booking pattern is consistent. DJs carry the bulk of the night, and the Worcester billing names pancadão explicitly, while a small group of singers rotates between cities: Pedrin and Jessica appear on three of the four Halloween-weekend bills, Deboasse in Worcester, Thiago Barreto in Newark, Daniel Costta in Boston. The imported name sits on top of that structure rather than replacing it — in Newark the draw was the sertanejo singer Felipe Araújo.
Halloween 2026, date by date
The company's own schedule gives the run in order. On 30 October 2026 it staged two nights simultaneously: Mega Halloween Favela Encantada at 158 Sports Grill Garage in Worcester, with Deboasse, Jessica, Pedrin and pancadão DJs, and Halloween Tour Favela Encantada at Rosie's Sport Bar in Newark, headed by Felipe Araújo with Jessica, Thiago Barreto and Pedrin. On 31 October the run moved to Big Night Live in Boston for an 18-plus, DJ-only night with a 9pm start; the StageSpotter page for that date now reads as finished.
The weekend's commercial peak was meant to be 1 November, when Infinity Black billed the official after-party for Ana Castela at Big Night Live with Daniel Costta, Jessica and Pedrin. Two separate listings exist for that evening: an all-ages Ana Castela billing with 6pm doors in the main hall, filed under the genre sertaneja, and a Bye Bye Halloween night at 9pm in Studio B for over-18s. The Songkick page for the main show gives the address as 110 Causeway Street, lists tickets through Universe, Ticketmaster and SeatGeek, and flags the booking as Ana Castela's first appearance in the Boston area.
Where it stands on 1 November 2026
As of 1 November 2026 the headline date is in doubt. Songkick carries the Ana Castela and Favela Encantada show at Big Night Live as cancelled, while the promoter's own site still lists the after-party for the same evening and its ticketing profile still shows three dates on sale. The two states are not strictly contradictory — an after-party in the smaller room can survive the loss of the concert it follows, and listing sites lag in both directions — but the main-room billing should be treated as unconfirmed until the promoter or the venue says otherwise.
The other number worth noting is how small the public footprint is. Songkick logged eight people marking attendance at the 1 November show, a figure that measures the English-language aggregators rather than the audience. This circuit sells through Portuguese-language social media, messaging groups and community radio, and the aggregator pages are a thin shadow of it.
What the record does not contain
No reviews of the 2026 run appear in the Boston or Newark press, and there is no recorded output to assess, which leaves the listings as the only evidence. What they show is a promoter with the reach to co-ordinate two cities on one night, the standing to be handed the official after-party for a touring Brazilian star, and enough repetition in its bench of DJs and singers to have built something closer to a house style than a sequence of one-offs. What they do not show is the quality of a night, the sound in a sports-bar garage, or whether the imported headliners pull beyond the core community. Until the cancellation is explained or a new run is posted, that is the honest limit of the record.
The show, now
A current iBlack USA night in Boston runs under the Favela Encantada banner in Studio B, the smaller room inside Big Night Live at 110 Causeway Street, with a 9pm start and an 18-plus door, as the 31 October 2026 Halloween billing and the 1 November Bye Bye Halloween listing both show; the all-ages bills, such as the 1 November Ana Castela show filed under sertaneja, open earlier, at 6pm doors in the main hall. The format is DJ-led rather than a single headline turn: the promoter's own schedule for the Halloween run put pancadão DJs at the centre of the Worcester night of 30 October with Deboasse, Jessica and Pedrin over the top, DJs alone in Boston on 31 October, and Daniel Costta, Jessica and Pedrin on the 1 November after-party, the same handful of singers recurring between cities while the DJs hold the floor. Support is drawn from the same pool rather than booked as a separate opening act, and ticketing systems have taken to listing Favela Encantada as the opener for iBlack USA itself. Staging is themed rather than built — the titles carry the costume framing, and the rooms range from a sports-bar garage in Worcester to a concert hall in Boston. No press reviews of the 2026 run have been published, and the only public audience signal is small: eight attendance marks on Songkick for the 1 November date, which reflects the English-language aggregators rather than a circuit that sells in Portuguese.
