Isaiah Falls and the album he spent five years cutting in half
The Orlando singer-songwriter closed out his two-part debut, LVRS Paradise, in July 2026 and is now five weeks into the European leg of the tour built around it — a run that reaches KOKO in London on 1 November.
Seven children, a laptop and FL Studio
Isaiah Falls grew up in Orlando, the youngest of seven, in a household where both parents worked in Christian music as artists and executives. Church was the first stage and the first school: he sang in services before he had any notion of a career in it. He went to Dr. Phillips High School, and at around fourteen his mother bought him a laptop, which he used to teach himself production in FL Studio. The early demos were cut with his brothers.
The influences he names run wider than the gospel background suggests — Justin Timberlake, OutKast, Drake and Kirk Franklin — and the Floridian element he keeps returning to is less about any one tradition than about what was in the air. "I think Florida raised me, [and] what we [were] raised on, majority of the world wasn't raised on," he told Revolt, explaining why the Latin and Caribbean textures in his records come more easily to him than the Haitian heritage he was not raised around.
He began putting out original songs in 2017 and left his job in 2019 to work on music full-time. The singles that built the first audience — "DIVA", "SEARCHING", "IMISSTORONTO" — arrived before any label infrastructure existed to push them.
From The Private Room to Rookie of the Month
The debut EP, The Private Room, came out on 18 April 2023 through his own LVRS ONLY imprint: five tracks, including "Pretty Like You", "Sin on Purpose" and "Worst Time" with Flozigg. It was followed on 24 May 2024 by the twelve-track Drugs n' Lullabies, which is where the trajectory changed.
"Florida Baby", released that August, did the heavy lifting. It is the record that has passed 23 million Spotify streams, and it put Orlando place-names into a song that travelled a long way beyond them. In September 2024 Billboard named him its R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month. He toured it himself, headlining the LVRS ONLY run that year, and the thing he took from it was the absence of friction in the room: "The energy in the room was just so genuine, nothing felt funny. There was no hate, just a lot of love."
The festival slot that closed 2024 was Rolling Loud at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on 13 December, a 3.30pm set of seven songs that functioned as a compressed version of what he had: "FLORIDA BABY", "GOLD ON MY TEETH", "DIVA", "HONEY", "CANDY", "BUTTERFLIES" and "LOVE ME OR LOVE ME NOT".
An album delivered in doses
LVRS Paradise (Side A) arrived on 2 May 2025 — nine tracks, barely twenty-two minutes, released on LVRS ONLY through Roc Nation Distribution. The lead single, "SEARCHING" with Odeal, had gone out in late March; Ambré and Joyce Wrice also featured, the latter on "BUTTERFLIES".
Splitting the record was a deliberate decision about appetite rather than an accident of scheduling. "I decided [in 2025], instead of giving them an album all at once… I'm gonna give it to them in doses," he said. Side A was written largely alone.
The response at home was emphatic. Orlando Weekly called it the biggest Orlando release in a long time and argued it could cement him as a contender on the R&B vanguard, picking out the minimal, plush production under what it described as a sensual voice. The Garnette Report read Side A as a moody, immersive space holding both the euphoria of new love and the calm of being properly seen.
He played The Beacham in Orlando on Saturday 19 July 2025 at 6pm, tickets $27.50 to $78, as part of a headline North American run that carried into Europe that autumn — Paradiso's Kleine Zaal in Amsterdam on 24 September, Village Underground in London on 28 September. A six-track EP, Lucky You, also appeared during 2025.
Side B, and what changed in Los Angeles
The second half took another year. "TABOO" went out through Roc Nation Distribution in early March 2026, followed by "Back in My Arms" on 24 April — a slow jam he described as being about the emotions and actions required to reconnect with a partner, released after fans pushed for it. The release date and trailer for the album itself were announced on 23 June.
LVRS Paradise (Side B) landed on 31 July 2026: twelve tracks, thirty-three minutes, executive produced by Falls with the Luxury Lane collective, with BLK ODYSSY handling the outro. The guest list is broader than Side A's — Mahalia, 03 Greedo, Yakiyn, Loose Kannon Takeoff, LateNightJiggy, and Big Boi of OutKast. Where Side A was made largely on his own, Side B was built as a group effort in Los Angeles.
He has been consistent about the tonal shift. "On SIDE A it's a lot more sweet," he said. "On SIDE B it gets a little more dark and toxic… I wanted to get shot through the heart on this one." Elsewhere he described it as "more smooth, kind of like red wine," with "a lot more Southern influence, like [OutKast]", and claimed it would "fill a pocket that R&B doesn't have right now". The two halves complete a project he has been circling for roughly five years.
Where he stands now
Falls turns thirty-ish territory with the unusual advantage of owning most of his own apparatus: LVRS ONLY is his label, Luxury Lane is his production crew and his filter. "They know my sound to a tee, they know the instruments I like," he has said of them, which is also why outside collaborators have remained the exception rather than the rule.
The signal anecdote from 2026 is a Grammy-week encounter at Soho House in Los Angeles, where Stevie Wonder recognised him without an introduction. His reaction was characteristically unsentimental: "You may not be a fan, but you know who I am. I'll take that. I can die." Asked about the prospect of a drop-off after a debut this long in the making, he said he is already seventy songs into the next album.
Promoters now file him alongside Joyce Wrice, Elmiene, Leon Thomas and Lucky Daye — the atmospheric, song-led end of contemporary R&B rather than the radio-single end. The European rooms he is playing this autumn are small enough to sell out and large enough to matter.
The show in October and November 2026
The LVRS PARADISE: SIDE B Tour opened in Vancouver on 6 September 2026 and worked east: House of Blues in Houston on 24 September, New York on 10 October, the Howard Theatre in Washington DC on 13 October, Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh on 18 October, and MIDLINE in Miami on 20 October, presented by AEG and BLNK CNVS with tickets from $44.01. RAAHiiM, the Toronto R&B singer, has been opening, with Luxury Lane also on the bill.
Six dates remain on sale, all of them European: KOKO in London on 1 November, doors at 7pm, tickets from £26.40; the AB Club in Brussels on 5 November, doors at 7pm, €18 general admission with reduced student and social rates; La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris on 7 November; and Privatclub in Berlin on 9 November.
Falls has hinted at a change of register for this run. "I might keep it real professional this year," he said. "I might be in a blazer."
The show, now
The LVRS PARADISE: SIDE B Tour has been running since 6 September 2026 and is now down to six European dates: KOKO in London on 1 November with doors at 7pm and tickets from £26.40, the AB Club in Brussels on 5 November with 7pm doors and €18 general admission, La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris on 7 November, and Privatclub in Berlin on 9 November. RAAHiiM, the Toronto R&B singer, has been opening throughout, with the Luxury Lane collective also appearing on the bill at the larger shows such as MIDLINE in Miami on 20 October, promoted by AEG and BLNK CNVS with tickets from $44.01. Falls plays with a live band rather than to tracks, and the set is drawn from both halves of LVRS Paradise around a durable spine of "FLORIDA BABY", "GOLD ON MY TEETH", "DIVA", "HONEY", "CANDY", "BUTTERFLIES" and "LOVE ME OR LOVE ME NOT" — the same seven he condensed into his Rolling Loud slot at Hard Rock Stadium on 13 December 2024. Ticket-platform reviews average 4.9 out of five across nine entries, with recurring comments about the band carrying the pulse, the vocals holding up without studio support, and the rooms staying intimate; one Dallas attendee at the Cambridge Room in the House of Blues wrote that every track sounded better live than on record. Falls himself has trailed a more formal presentation for this run: "I might keep it real professional this year. I might be in a blazer."
