Thirty days on camera, 18,250 seats: Lewislefou's one date of the year

A Charlevoix streamer who built an audience by never switching the camera off has turned it into arena hockey — and arrives at a sold-out Centre Vidéotron on 21 November 2026 with his main channel under a 30-day Twitch ban.

A basement in Charlevoix, thirty days on camera

Lewislefou grew up in Charlevoix and started broadcasting from his father's basement, playing Fortnite and Call of Duty to a chat measured in dozens. Québec outlets give the name behind the handle as Louis-Charles Lavoie; he has kept that detail at arm's length himself. The wood furnace in that basement became a running joke his audience still repeats back to him years later.

The break came in the autumn of 2022, when he was eighteen. He ran a subathon — a stream whose clock is extended by every new paid subscription — and kept it running for thirty consecutive days, stopping just short of the thirty-one-day Québec record, broadcasting his ordinary life rather than a game. It broke several Québec subscription records on Twitch and reset what the channel was: not a gaming feed but a serial about one person, watched for hours at a stretch.

He now lives on the South Shore of Montréal. The audience that formed around those thirty days calls itself La Terrifiance, and he has the word tattooed on his thigh.

The work: food, flights and a chat that never closes

There is no discography here and no special. The body of work is a Twitch channel, a YouTube shelf and a TikTok account, and the thing being manufactured is proximity. On YouTube the recurring format is the food hunt with friends — titles such as On trouve la meilleure poutine de Montréal, made with Alexane Pelletier and Shahin Ouest, with Alex The Lucky another regular — ranking episodes built on argument rather than production value.

The other strand is travel, run the same way: the stream moves, the camera stays on. He took it to Japan in March 2025 and to France later that year, then to Serbia from 19 to 26 October 2026, each trip structured as a near-continuous marathon rather than an edited vlog series.

By October 2026 the counts sat at roughly 139,000 Twitch followers, 158,000 on Instagram, 45,000 YouTube subscribers and more than 220,000 on TikTok. Those are modest numbers set against global streaming, and large ones inside a French-speaking market of about eight million people.

4 April 2026: the day the hockey worked

The turn from streamer to event promoter happened at the Colisée de Laval on 4 April 2026, when he captained a team of creators against one assembled by the entrepreneur Olivier Primeau. Around 3,500 tickets were sold, Mercedes attached its name to it, and the game went to overtime: Lewis's side won 4-3, with Max Lavoie scoring the winner.

The online figures were what changed the conversation about him. The broadcast drew more than 820,000 views across the day, with roughly 50,000 watching simultaneously on Twitch and another 20,000 on YouTube. His personal Twitch record — 56,525 concurrent viewers, still his all-time peak — was set that afternoon. Afterwards the two promoters gave $30,000 from the proceeds to community organisations.

Within weeks it had a sequel attached. Tickets for a rematch at the Centre Vidéotron went on presale to Gestev+ newsletter subscribers at 10am on 22 April 2026 and to the general public at noon the same day. All 18,250 seats were gone inside six hours.

A bad summer

The months between the two games were the hardest stretch of his public career. In late May 2026 the businessman François Lambert criticised him publicly, and the singer Roxane Bruneau defended him. In August he travelled to a Miami streamerfest, left early and distanced himself from another participant's conduct — and the fallout reached him regardless.

A Beachclub show billed as LEWIS LE FOU & Friends and set for 29 August 2026 was cancelled, with Primeau confirming it and announcing refunds; Lewis said he wanted to redirect the date towards charitable activity instead. Zachary Bolduc of the Montreal Canadiens removed videos he had made alongside him. Georges Laraque, the former NHL player who skates on Lewis's hockey team, had warned him in advance about the company he was keeping. The Centre Vidéotron date was never in doubt, but the commercial scaffolding around him visibly thinned.

Banned, three weeks out

The most recent development is a suspension. In the closing days of October 2026 — reported on 29 October — Twitch handed him a 30-day ban over sexually explicit content that appeared on stream while he was broadcasting from a hockey dressing room during the Serbia trip. His first public response was an Instagram post reading «Aucune raison! J'aime Twitch».

He gave the fuller account on a live stream, and in coverage dated 4 November he was still disputing the severity, arguing that a dressing room is not equivalent to a private space such as a bathroom. He was also clear about the stakes of a repeat: «Si je suis ban encore, je suis ban un an!» Twitch has not publicly detailed the violation.

He moved to Kick for the duration, where he already held a profile and where part of La Terrifiance followed him. On the dates reported, the thirty-day term runs out after 21 November — which places the largest afternoon of his career on a weekend when his primary channel is dark and the audience is split across a platform most of it does not normally use.

The rematch, and the roster he built for it

La revanche: Lewis V. Primeau is at the Centre Vidéotron in Québec City on Saturday 21 November 2026, with a 2pm start, and it is the single date on sale under his name. He has rebuilt the team rather than simply reconvened it, keeping the captaincy and a first-line forward spot alongside Max Lavoie, April's match-winner, and Xavier Ladouceur.

Behind them: Shahin, Alexandre Mailloux and William Boudreault on the second line; Alex The Lucky and Simpota on the third; AchilleFPS, Cocotte, Gurky and Antho le petit homme on a development line; defensive pairs of Killer with Dom Babin, Stox with Olivier Leblanc, and Mia Vaananen with Cédric Séguin; Mathy Tessier in goal. Georges Laraque and the comedian Charles Brunet are also named for Lewis's side.

Selection itself became content. He reviewed applications live on his Twitch channel on 11 October 2026, then invited twelve hopefuls — among them Daveinfosport, Francis Noël, Mat Morin, Thom Cusson and Shatter — to a tryout on Saturday 17 October for two open places, one on the third line and one on the development line. Primeau's team includes the singer Marc Dupré, the broadcaster Jean-Charles Lajoie and the comedian Alexandre Bisaillon, with Gaël Comtois coordinating the event.

The show, now

The one date on sale is not a gig but a staged hockey match: La revanche: Lewis V. Primeau, Centre Vidéotron, Québec City, Saturday 21 November 2026, listed for a 2pm start — one Québec listings site gives 15h00, so the time printed on the ticket is the one to trust. The format follows the April template at the Colisée de Laval: a full game with lines of content creators, broadcasters, comedians and former professionals rotating through, Lewis captaining and playing forward on the first line beside Max Lavoie and Xavier Ladouceur, Mathy Tessier in goal, against a Primeau side carrying Marc Dupré, Jean-Charles Lajoie and Alexandre Bisaillon. There is no support act in the concert sense; the celebrity rosters are the bill. The organisers have promised the Québec City edition goes well beyond the match itself, with surprises still unannounced, and as of early November no run of show, intermission entertainment or set times had been published beyond the start. Scale is the headline: 18,250 seats, every one sold within six hours of going on sale on 22 April 2026, against 3,500 at Laval. The April game is the only guide to what the room does — it went to overtime and was decided 4-3 by Lavoie's goal, drew more than 820,000 broadcast views across the day and set Lewis's Twitch concurrency record at 56,525, and was reported afterwards as both a commercial and an entertainment success. The complication going in is that his Twitch channel is serving a 30-day suspension imposed in late October 2026, which on the reported dates expires after the game; part of his audience has shifted to Kick in the meantime, and some partners — including Canadiens forward Zachary Bolduc, who deleted collaborative videos after the August Miami streamerfest fallout — have pulled back. Fan appetite, measured by the only hard number available, has not: the sell-out happened before the roster was even announced, and the tryout that filled the last two places was itself streamed and watched.
