Mrozu takes a seventh album into the arenas, 18 years after the hook-singer work

Łukasz Mróz released his seventh studio album, "Wszystko, czego chciałem", on 18 September 2026 and opened his first album-driven arena tour in Łódź two weeks later — the biggest Polish rooms he has headlined, off the back of a five-Fryderyk sweep in 2023.

A Wrocław kid who came up on other people's records

Łukasz Błażej Mróz was born on 22 July 1986 in Wrocław and grew up on the Gaj estate in the south of the city. He went through a theatre stream at Zespół Szkół nr 6, which is where the singing was formalised, and afterwards read physiotherapy — a qualification that never got used. Before there was anything under his own name he sang in youth musicals and won the Agnieszka Osiecka competition "Bardzo wielka woda".

The route into professional work was not pop but Wrocław hip-hop. He sang hooks for Natural Dread Killaz and K.A.S.T.A., which is an apprenticeship with a specific curriculum: a guest vocalist on a rap record is hired to write eight bars that can be repeated without wearing out, and to deliver them over a beat somebody else has already finished. The habit stuck. Almost everything he has released since is built around a chorus that arrives early and earns its keep, with the arrangement assembled around it rather than the other way round.

Miliony monet, and a decade of chasing the single

The debut album "Miliony monet" came in 2009 and gave him the title song that is still in the set seventeen years later. "Vabank" followed in 2010 and brought a Viva Comet for debut of the year. "Rollercoaster" in 2014 was the commercial step up, and that year he took two Eska Music Awards, for best artist and best video.

Two more records, "Zew" in 2017 and "Aura" in 2019, kept him on radio without quite changing his standing. The cumulative sales record across that stretch is the clearest measure of what he had built by the turn of the decade: two double-platinum certifications, three platinum and eight gold across albums and singles. He was a reliable hit-maker who had not yet made the album that critics and the industry agreed on.

Złote bloki, and the year he swept the Fryderyki

"Złote bloki", released in 2022, was that album. It went gold within three months and platinum four months after that, and it produced "Za daleko", a duet with Vito Bambino that became the most played thing he has recorded.

At the Fryderyk gala for popular music and jazz on 22 April 2023, he won five awards: artist of the year, song of the year for "Za daleko", pop album of the year for "Złote bloki", producer of the year, and author of the year, shared with Arek Sitarz. The producer and author categories matter more than the headline ones, because they confirmed what the credits had been saying for years — he writes and builds the records himself rather than fronting them.

He pressed the advantage immediately. On 7 April 2023 he recorded the fourteenth Polish edition of MTV Unplugged at the Polish Radio Concert Studio in Warsaw, reworking fourteen songs with Małgorzata Ostrowska and Jarecki guesting; the vinyl followed on 24 November. The album won a Fryderyk for best concert recording in 2024, one of two he took that year. A spring 2024 hall tour marked fifteen years on stage — Gdynia on 2 March, Wrocław on 9 March, Poznań on 24 March, Katowice on 4 April and two nights at Warsaw on 14 and 15 April, one of which sold out — and was announced as the last chance to hear the material live before a deliberate break to write. Around the edges of that pause he sang with the Męskie Granie Orkiestra in 2023 and 2024 and cut "Sing-Sing" with Maryla Rodowicz in 2024.

Wszystko, czego chciałem: guitars, strings, and a smaller definition of happiness

The seventh studio album arrived on 18 September 2026 through Kayax. It runs to ten tracks and was trailed over a long campaign by "Nie ma miejsca jak dom", "Pół na pół", "Anioły" and "Odpowiedni moment", a duet with Zalia. Julia Pietrucha and the Kacperczyk brothers also guest.

The title translates as "everything I wanted", and it is pointed rather than triumphal. Mróz has described the record as being about how the definition of happiness moves: the young version of it sits in success, big feelings, travel, concerts and ticked-off ambitions, and the later version is that the best of those things only mean anything if there is somebody to share them with. He has called the album a musical record of the moment he is in now, and said that eighteen years after starting he did not expect to reach it.

Musically it is the most guitar-led thing he has made. He has named the guitar as the instrument that drives him and the glue holding the record together aesthetically, and the riffs pull in several directions at once — soul and funk, rock'n'roll, a strong 1970s streak, indie edges and some Latin American rhythm. Against that there are string sections, expanded brass and choirs, recorded with live players rather than programmed. He has conceded the shift is a bold move, and framed it as an attempt to keep the music from sounding standard-issue.

October 2026: six arena nights and what rests on them

The "Odpowiedni moment tour" was announced on 18 December 2025, nine months before the album it promotes, and it is the first arena run he has mounted around a new record. Six dates are on sale, promoted by Live Nation Polska with Kayax: Atlas Arena in Łódź on 2 October, two nights at COS Torwar in Warsaw on 7 and 8 October, Hala Stulecia in Wrocław on 10 October, the Ergo Arena between Gdańsk and Sopot on 17 October, and Tauron Arena Kraków on 30 October. The second Warsaw night was added to the original schedule, and the Łódź venue was advertising only last tickets in the week before the show.

Those are the largest halls in the country, and the scale is the test. The 2024 anniversary tour played smaller rooms in five cities on the strength of the back catalogue; this one asks the same audience to turn up for an album three weeks old. The opening night in Łódź on 2 October went ahead as scheduled, with a Wrocław homecoming at Hala Stulecia eight days later and the Kraków date closing the run at the end of the month.

The show, now

The current show is a full arena production rather than a band-and-backline affair, and the running order on the tour pages is specific: early entry at 17:30, doors at 18:00 with DJ NOZ playing from the same time, and Mrozu on at 20:00. There is no touring support act — the DJ covers the two hours before the main set. The set itself is split between the ten tracks of "Wszystko, czego chciałem" and the singles of the preceding fifteen years, and the band's reputation is for working the visual and musical detail hard rather than for spontaneity. The best-documented recent setlist is the festival version from Stadion Olimpijski in Wrocław on 29 August 2026, a twelve-song run that opened with "Nie ma miejsca jak dom", moved through "Poligon", "Jak nie my to kto", "Napad" and "Za daleko" into the two new singles "Odpowiedni moment" and "Pół na pół", then "Miliony monet", "Nic do stracenia", "Złoto" and "Aura", and closed on the Męskie Granie Orkiestra song "Supermoce". The arena version expands on that with the rest of the new record, the strings and brass the album leans on, and — on the evidence of the 2024 anniversary tour, where collaborators appeared each night — the likelihood of guests. As of 6 October 2026, four days after the Łódź opening, no full review of that show had been published, so the staging detail beyond the venue's own billing is not yet verifiable.
