Columbus, Goose Creek and a copy of FL Studio

Amari Deshawn Adham Middleton was born on 20 May 2003 in Columbus, Ohio, and raised between Columbus and Goose Creek, South Carolina. An uncle taught him FL Studio, and he spent high school making beats under the alias Damn 4K, working from what he heard in Chief Keef and NLE Choppa. He started recording his own vocals in 2020 as PradaUMari, and had settled on OsamaSon by 2021 — the name lifted from his father, Osama.

The 2023 run was collaborative and fast. He put out 2 Slime with Boolymon on 17 March 2023 and Ohsama with Ohsxnta on 27 March. The singles "Cts-V" in April 2023 and "Troops" that June did the rest, helped along when the streamer BruceDropEmOff played them to his audience. The self-released mixtape Osama Season followed on 21 July 2023.

Flex Musix arrived on 8 December 2023 through Motion — the label attached to Rolling Loud — and Atlantic Records. It was loose and deliberately unpolished, and it remains the record he points back to when he talks about his own instincts. Two more collaborative EPs came in 2024, Still Slime with Boolymon on 12 March and 3vil Reflection with Glokk40Spaz on 24 May, alongside "Withdrawals" with Nettspend that June, produced by OK.

Jump Out, and the point the underground agreed

Jump Out was released on 24 January 2025 through Atlantic and Motion, led by the single "The Whole World Is Free" from 12 November 2024. OK executive-produced, with contributions from Gyro, Legiiion, Warren Hunter, Skai and Middleton himself. It peaked at 151 on the Billboard 200 — modest on paper, and his first album to chart at all.

The critical response was out of proportion to the chart placing. Pitchfork gave it 8.2 and Best New Music, with Olivier Lafontant writing that it "raised the bar for the new SoundCloud scene". AllMusic went four stars out of five, crediting it with pushing the limits of rage and experimentally crafted rap. Jordan Darville at The Fader called it a shining example of what makes rage compelling. Thematically it moved away from the drug-centred writing of the early tapes towards money, clothes and weapons, carried on saturated vocals, heavy synthesiser and 808s.

Psykotic, written between cities

Psykotic followed on 10 October 2025: seventeen tracks, forty-two minutes, recorded almost entirely on the road during the Jump Out tour. He framed it as a return to the Flex Musix era, before he had sharpened the sound into something repeatable. Che takes the only guest verse; production again comes largely from OK, Warren Hunter, Gyro and Legiiion.

It debuted at 81 on the Billboard 200 with 13,000 album-equivalent units and reached 20 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Pitchfork scored it 7.2, describing rage rap earworms belted over hallucinatory beats while noting that it rarely departs from the established rage-rap template. Fred Thomas at AllMusic gave four stars and warned it would prove too much for listeners attached to traditional rap. Anthony Fantano landed in the six-to-seven range, calling it an impressive display of rage-type curation. The Fader placed it sixteenth in its albums of 2025.

2026: a Balenciaga campaign and an album of twenty-six songs

On his twenty-third birthday, 20 May 2026, he released "off that!", produced by 1st Class, Dayever and Trisstt. The Fader — which called him the best rage rapper working — flagged it as possibly the first piece of an album titled Nocturnal, and singled out the production detail: barely audible synth lines, a choir of his own ad-libs, ice shaking endlessly in a styrofoam cup.

The rest of the year has widened the audience without changing the music. He fronted a Balenciaga campaign over summer 2026. In late August, "vamp city" with Ken Carson landed on the Cartunez reissue, a pairing fans had been asking about since 2023; Carson then brought him out in New York to perform it.

Two projects are pending. NXO, a joint release with Nettspend through Grade A and Interscope, is listed for October 2026. Nocturnal has been discussed by Middleton as running to around twenty-six songs, built from the short, dense tracks that define Flex Musix and Psykotic; no release date has been confirmed, and reference listings currently place it in 2027.

The Psykturnal run

Live Nation announced the Psykturnal tour in May 2026. It opened on 16 September at 013 in Tilburg, went to Paris on the 18th, then two nights at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on 20 and 21 September. The rest of the European leg runs E-Werk in Cologne on the 23rd, Columbiahalle in Berlin on the 24th, two nights at Klub Stodoła in Warsaw on the 26th and 27th, SaSaZu in Prague on the 29th, TonHalle München on 1 October and Komplex 457 in Zürich on the 3rd.

Australia is the first-time market: Festival Hall in Melbourne on 10 October, the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on the 11th and the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on the 14th. Billboard described the run as one of the most anticipated underground rap debuts on Australian soil in years. After that he returns to the United States for Gods of Chaos at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on 31 October.

Pricing sits well below arena level. The Tilburg show listed standard admission at €34.80, an early-entry package at €99 and a meet-and-greet at €143, all fees included. VIP Nation Europe is handling the upgrades across the leg, bundling early venue entry, a meet-and-greet and a tour laminate.

The shape of the show

The Psykotic tour, announced on 20 August 2025, ran from St Louis on 16 October to Vancouver on 20 December 2025 and produced forty-four documented setlists — enough to see the structure clearly. "Habits" and "Made Sum Plans" were played thirty-nine times each, "Addicted" and "Whats Happening" thirty-eight, "Get Away" thirty-seven, "It's a Party" and "Worldwide" thirty-six. Around that spine he rotates deeper material: "Waffle House" surfaced eight times, "troops" five, "Kills" four. Two covers appeared once apiece — Nettspend's "Cha Ching" and xaviersobased's "uncomfy".

Ohsxnta opened the American dates, including the Paramount in Huntington, New York on 2 November 2025. For the European leg, 013 scheduled him on stage from 21:00 to 22:15, with doors at 19:30 — a seventy-five minute set for a catalogue built almost entirely from two-minute songs, which is roughly thirty of them if he plays it straight through.

The production has grown with the rooms. A review of his Dallas show described the stage wrapped in a cage and flanked by LED screens running demon baby heads, with lasers and smoke; he came out of the dark in full leather during "Habits", roughly thirty minutes after the advertised time, to a crowd that had spent the delay throwing popcorn and water bottles.
