Raul Clyde: the Aldaia rose-seller who took Spanish reggaeton to Rimas
A Valencian who designed record sleeves for other rappers before he released anything of his own, Raul Clyde is the first Spanish artist signed to Bad Bunny's Rimas Entertainment, and in October 2026 he opens a ten-city tour behind a second album that has become the biggest record of his career.
Aldaia, Manises airport, and a sideline in sleeve design
Raúl Pérez Marqués was born on 5 November 1997 in Aldaia, a town on the western edge of the Valencia metropolitan area. Before music paid anything he worked as an operative at Manises airport, and took shifts as a waiter and a salesman. He also worked as a graphic designer, and some of that work went to other people's records: he produced artwork for Spanish urban artists including Morad and Kaydy Cain, which put him inside the scene some years before he was a part of it as a performer.
The influences he names are a mix of Puerto Rican reggaeton and Spanish rumba-rock — Arcángel, Cosculluela and Ñengo Flow alongside Estopa. That combination explains a lot about the finished product: the percussion and the cadence come from San Juan, the storytelling and the register come from a Spanish working-class town.
The first singles went up on YouTube and Spotify in 2021 with no infrastructure behind them. The following year he released the EP that gave him a name, and the shows that followed sold out at the small end of the circuit.
Destino 2013, Destino 2014, and the Saiko remix
The debut project, Destino 2013, arrived in 2022 and carried the track "Tuenti". The remix of it with Saiko went platinum and is still the hinge point of his career — the song that took him from a regional name to a national one. He followed it in 2023 with a run of shorter releases: the shared EP Mean Girls with C Marí in March, 5 noches en el Mediterráneo over the summer, which he has described as the jump to doing this professionally, and Las Últimas 3 Noches.
Destino 2014 landed in 2024 and was the record that reached a mass audience, with a deluxe reissue, Destino 2014 (49 Edition), later the same year. The guest list on the two editions runs from Spanish contemporaries — La Pantera, Soge Culebra, Yung Beef on "CHERRY" — to Puerto Rican names from the era he grew up on, J Álvarez and Jory Boy. An EP, LOS DE LA NUEVA ERA, followed in 2025.
After the DANA floods hit the Valencia region in October 2024 he wrote a benefit song for those affected, in a province where the damage was concentrated within a few kilometres of where he grew up.
Rimas, and El vendedor de rosas
Clyde is signed to Rimas Entertainment, Bad Bunny's label, and is the first Spanish artist to join it. That is the structural change behind 2026: a Latin-market distribution machine attached to an artist whose material had until then travelled on Spanish streaming momentum alone.
El vendedor de rosas, his second album proper, was released on 13 March 2026 across 16 tracks. The title is taken from Víctor Gaviria's 1998 Colombian film, and the record is built as a deliberate look back at old-school reggaeton rather than at the melodic, Auto-Tuned register that dominates the Spanish charts. Saiko appears on "TU DÚO FAVORITO", Gloosito on "GRACIAS DIOS" and Max Santos on "El arma", with younger names including LaDiferencia2006 and Maig given room across the tracklist. Production is shared between Came Beats, Sergi El Combo, T-Cun, Max Santos, Ignasi and Andriu.
The launch was staged overnight at La Riviera in Madrid in the early hours between the Thursday and Friday of release week, drawing most of the Spanish urban scene into one room. Clyde's line on the night — that from then on, anyone who saw a rose-seller would think of him — has done a lot of the album's promotional work on its own. By early May 2026 the record had passed ten million plays across streaming platforms. Fleek Mag's review framed it as the point at which he stopped sounding like the generic urban template and acquired a sound of his own.
Where he stands now
The Valencia concert announced on 4 May 2026 opens El Vendedor de Rosas Tour on Monday 12 October 2026 at the Sala Auditorio inside the new Roig Arena, with a 21:00 start and tickets from €28.40; they went on sale through roigarena.com at 20:00 on 5 May. Barcelona follows on 16 October at Razzmatazz, and the routing then works outwards through Alicante and Salamanca in November, Zaragoza in December, Murcia, Santiago de Compostela and Granada in January, Bilbao in February and Tenerife in April. A Mexico City date is listed without a day attached, and a Madrid show is held for 2027. Most of the Spanish dates are already showing as sold out on resale and primary listings.
The touring record underneath that is steady rather than sudden: nine shows in 2025, ten in 2024, concentrated in Spain with Madrid the most frequent stop. Festival work has included Reggaetón Beach Festival, Bamboleo and Riverland, where he played the Asturias edition across 21–23 August 2026, and he has opened for Mora on a Spanish run. Songkick has more than 16,000 users tracking him for alerts.
Peer endorsement has been consistent and public — Quevedo, Saiko and Los Xavales have all pointed listeners towards him in interviews — though Clyde himself has been sober about what that produced, telling Urban Roosters that the Quevedo and Saiko episode was remarkable but hard to repeat. The Madrid 2027 date, rather than the Valencia opener, is the real test of whether the Rimas signing converts into a room that size.
What he does with a stage
The template for this tour was set at Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid on 29 March 2025, a self-produced show built around Destino 2014 and played, unusually, as the album in sequence rather than as a hits set. The staging was a constructed street: shopfronts, his bicycle, and a top-manta stall referring back to Destino 2013. It is closer to set design than to the LED-wall default of the genre, and it fits an artist whose material is specific about place.
The guest slots did most of the heavy lifting on the night. C Marí came out for "Sobrenatural" and the "La Visión" remix; Mushkaa and Soge Culebra appeared; Yung Beef joined for "CHERRY"; and Clyde brought up Xiyo and Fernandezz for the "Pobre Angelito" remix, which is the habit worth noting — the newer names on his records get the stage, not just the credit. The same approach runs through El vendedor de rosas, where half the features are artists with a fraction of his audience.
The show, now
The current run is El Vendedor de Rosas Tour, which opens at the Sala Auditorio inside Valencia's Roig Arena on Monday 12 October 2026 with a 21:00 start; tickets went on sale on 5 May 2026 from €28.40 and most of the subsequent Spanish dates are now gone. No support act has been listed on the tour's own date page or on the primary ticketing listings, which is consistent with how the previous headline show was run: at Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid on 29 March 2025 — doors at 19:00, on stage at 20:30, tickets from €25 — Clyde self-produced the evening and played Destino 2014 as a single sequenced piece rather than a greatest-hits shuffle, using a built street set with shopfronts, his bicycle and a top-manta stall that referred back to Destino 2013. The pacing came from guest entrances rather than costume changes: C Marí for "Sobrenatural" and the "La Visión" remix, Mushkaa, Soge Culebra, Yung Beef for "CHERRY", and the newer artists Xiyo and Fernandezz brought up for the "Pobre Angelito" remix. The Valencia set is expected to follow the same shape with the 16 tracks of El vendedor de rosas at its centre, and given that Saiko, Gloosito and Max Santos all appear on the record, the guest slots are the part of the night least likely to be printed in advance.
